I knew I was gonna wakeup to something really good that day! The bright sunlight, the amazing view, the cozy bed and the busy Sheikh Zayed road, everything seemed to be so perfect and comfortable. In the midst of all the morning laziness I failed to realise how busy my schedule was for the day.
I went to have breakfast at Shakespeare and co., it is a Victorian era inspired eatery and offers a diverse menu of international fare, elegant French patisserie, and homemade gourmet chocolates and much more.
I was awestruck by the alluring interiors, I felt like i was sitting in one of the Shakespeare plays but instead of versing in the strenuous Shakespeare English, I was just enjoying wonderful food and amazing services.
It’s a place you can go with friends and family to enjoy a good meal and relax. It is classic and comfortable, promises quality food, charming surroundings, warm hospitality and value for money.
After having the delectable breakfast, I headed to enjoy my much awaited desert safari.
It was so classic, our driver came to pick us up from hotel wearing the traditional white attire and took us for the adventurous desert safari.
The beautiful sand dunes with bright sunlight, was a match made in heaven. He took us to a camp where there was a buffet with all the Arabic delicacies, henna stalls and sheesha points. It was followed by a belly dancing act where the belly dancer stunned everyone with her flexibile moves, a fire act wherein the artist used kerosene and fire to perform hair-raising stunts and left all of us agitated , (atleast I was haha!)
I chose to wear a high waist monochrome shorts and paired it with a black bodysuit, opted my Addidas originals and a soft beige sling for the same. Sported a headgear to give it the Arabian touch.
The next day I planned to discover “Atlantis, the palm,Dubai”.
I was super excited because I had heard so many things about it.
(The view from my hotel room’s terrace was magnificent)
I wore white high waist shorts and a deep blue bodysuit, nude block heels added statement to the outfit.
As soon as I reached Atlantis I was taken aback by its beauty. It is a luxury hotel resort located at the apex of the Palm Jumeirah. I visited the lost chambers aquarium and also the thrilling Aquaventure waterpark.
The lost chambers aquarium gives a feeling as if we are thousands of years deep beneath the sea, and the ancient ruins of the lost city of Atlantis have finally been uncovered. Its beguiling but I personally liked the Dubai mall aquarium more.
The aquaventure water park is once in a lifetime experience and should be on your to do list while visiting Dubai. Although its not for the weak-hearted, its host to the most adrenaline pumping water rides like “The Poseidon’s revenge” , “Slitherine” , “Zoomerango” and “Atlantean flyers”. People looking out for some ‘kick’ per se, should make a sure visit.
After a splendid vacation, now it was time to head home.
I know I was taking enormous memories with me while leaving from Dubai. I always wonder how unique it is that people from different nationalities have settled so peacefully in one city like a family.
Next day I flew with Emirates and had the most comfortable air experience.
Arak lahqaan! (see you in Arabic) ❤
